Absurdist Theatre: Picasso and Others

Desire Caught by the Tail by Pablo Picasso

World Premiere translation by Milena Karpukhina

TRAGEDY: A Tragedy by Will Eno

directed by Harry White

A world premiere of a new translation of Pablo Picasso’s enigmatic and aburdist play, Desire Caught by the Tail. Known for being impossible to stage, the Foster Cats bring this play, written in 1941 during the Germany occupation of France, into the 21st century. This evening brings a reverence and healing to the relevant topic of “the end of the world.”

In Desire Caught by the Tail, Pablo Picasso details the inner workings of Bigfoot, who has a rousing love life, good culinary skills - and has even written a novel he'd like the share with you!

In TRAGEDY: A Tragedy, Will Eno brings breaking coverage to the local city of wherever, as a news team details the darkest night mankind has ever known. Stay tuned for live updates from the steps of the Capitol!
